Enphase: how to read the IQ Gateway LED lights and what they mean

The IQ Gateway (inside the Enphase combiner box or a gray box near your panel) has four small lights, each with an icon.

CLOUD (internet): Solid green = connected to Enphase. Blinking green = trying to connect. Solid amber = connected to your router but not reaching the internet. Off = no network (restart your router — see KM-512).

PHONE (setup mode): Solid green = the Gateway's setup Wi-Fi is on for pairing a phone. Off = normal everyday state; it turns off on its own after about 8 hours.

TWO ARROWS / PLUGS (microinverters): Solid green = all panels are talking to the Gateway. Solid amber = one or more microinverters stopped talking. Off = none are talking.

SUN / BOLT (production): Solid green = producing power. Amber = low or no production — normal at dawn, dusk, and night, but a problem in midday sun. Off = not producing (check the solar breaker — see KM-515).

Healthy daytime: cloud, microinverter, and production lights all solid green; phone light off.

If any light stays amber or off during a sunny day, take a photo of the lights and call or text us at 806-454-7873.
