Who approves solar in Dallas–Fort Worth, Oncor or my electricity provider?
Oncor owns the wires and approves the interconnection. Your retail provider handles billing, including whether you get credited for exported solar. They are two separate steps, and we manage the Oncor side for you.
Do I need a solar buyback plan in DFW?
You need one if you want credit for the power you export. DFW is deregulated, so you can switch providers to a plan with solar buyback. We help you compare before your system turns on.
Will my HOA stop me from installing solar in DFW?
Texas law limits how much an HOA can restrict solar, though they can require reasonable placement. We prepare the HOA submittal as part of the project.
